When to take SAT and ACT




The kids should be taking the test in their junior year at least twice.  The college will accept the higher score.  If you are a junior you should be taking it in the fall of your junior year.  Depending on the results you can take it again in December.  There is also an SAT in the spring.  Practice makes perfect.  The first time is the hardest.  ACT follows the same schedule.  The ACT used to be structured with math and science.  The language section is now harder then the SAT.
