Janet
Clark, Office Manager and Spanish Tutor
“I enjoy working in an environment that allows
me to make a difference in people’s lives. I believe knowledge
is the greatest gift we can give our children.”
Janet received her B.S. in Education with honors
from Lamar University, Beaumont, in 1979. She is certified to teach
English, Spanish and History. After teaching for three years, she
followed her life-long interest in business, beginning an eighteen
year career in Accounting, Management and Human Resources. She retired
from her position as Human Resources Manager for an international
steel trading company in 2000, and began working part-time with
her friend Carol Levin shortly thereafter. That part-time position
has grown along with Carol’s business and Janet now works
three days a week managing the office. She has never lost her interest
in teaching, however, and accepts tutoring assignments in Spanish.
Janet has been married to Tim Clark since 1978.
They enjoy Janet’s three adult children and two wonderful
grandsons, Adam and Collin. The Clarks engage in sailing, music
and reading in their leisure time.
